Updated Wellness Check Process

The latest message from H-D is about the “Updated Wellness Check Process” and was sent out via the Assurance messaging system on May 19, 2020 at 4:45pm.

As we prepare for our return to the workplace, this message is to outline our updated wellness check process. Effective immediately upon return, and continuing for two weeks, Supervisors will be conducting daily wellness checks with all employees and contractors. All employees and contractors will be asked four questions regarding their wellness. Participation in these wellness checks is mandatory, and all employees and contractors will be required to answer these daily wellness check questions.

The following questions will be asked of all employees and contractors during a wellness check:

  1. Have you experienced a fever, cough or shortness of breath due to respiratory illness within the last 48 hours?
  2. Have you been in close contact (within 6 feet) of a lab confirmed coronavirus (COVID-19) patient in the past 14 days?
  3. Have you traveled outside of the United States?
  4. Do you have thoughts or feelings that may inhibit your ability to perform your job safely?

If you answered “yes” to any of the above questions, or change your mind throughout your shift, immediately contact your Supervisor or call the Lifestyle Center.
