IAM Local 175 is saddened to report the death of our Union brother, Albert Meier Acosta. He passed away Sunday, May 16, 2021. Albert joined Harley-Davidson in 2017 and worked on 1st shift in Post Assembly.
We wish to express our sincerest condolences to Albert’s family, friends, co-workers and Union brothers and sisters. Information about Albert’s funeral services will be provided when it becomes available.

Hello everyone, I just wanted to start off by saying thank you so much to everyone who reached out to my family and everyone who donated to my family. Albert was a very well-known person at Harley and it means the world to my family how much you all have shown that. I wanted to share the funeral details with you all. We will be holding the funeral on Saturday May 22nd from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm at 822 E Market Street in York Pa 17403. Everyone is welcomed to attend, and we would love to see you all there. Again, thank you all! My family is thankful to know that Albert made such an impact at his job. As we all know Albert’s smile and loving attitude was contagious! You all are welcome to come and join us as we lay him to rest.
